Company History.
Beck's Lawnmower & Outboard Shop was established in 1963
by Bill & Lavern Beck. My husband worked long hard hours at
the railroad and here at Becks Outboard to accomplish what
our business is today. We were joined by our son Billy Beck
in 1979 and our son-in-law Charles Hardage in 1981. Several
years later our grandsons Brian and Brad Beck joined the team
truly making it "A Family Affair". The parts department has
been run by myself, my daughter-in-law, Lorrie Beck, and my
daughter, Kay Hardage . Our other grandchildren Miranda and
Chad Hardage help out when their full time jobs permit during
the busy season. Mr. Beck retired from CSX in 1998 with
39 1\2 years of service. It was at this time we incorporated
and became Becks Outboard Inc. We have been a factory
certified service center for Evinrude and Johnson since the
70's and a sales and service center since June of 1987.
From all of us at Becks Outboard Inc, we would like to
thank you for your support over the years and hope it
will continue for many years to come.
